
Bio
Kevla's dance education began when she was 5 years old, with years of extensive study in ballet, jazz, and modern. Bringing this background to her love of Middle Eastern dance gives her a versatility and dedication to be reckoned with. She has been performing as a professional soloist since 2014, and prior to that performed with professional bellydance troupes.

Completed the diversities of the Middle East Summer Seminar put on by the Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studies
February 2019
Completed level two of Journey Through Egypt, an overview course on the movement and cultural diffusion in the different regions of Egypt
July 2015 and February 2018
Twice completed Aziza's Dreamcamp, a week-long bellydance intensive
August 2016
Second place winner, Professional Fusion Soloist, at the international Yaa Halla Y'all Bellydance Star Competition
Regularly attends local and international workshops and classes with renowned instructors, such as Aziza, Amanda Rose, Melissa Gamal, Ranya Renee, Vanessa of Cairo, and many more.
