The Winnipeg bellydance community is incredibly excited to present our sixth Shivers & Shimmies gala show, with all new performances. And this time, we're bringing along a special guest: international bellydance star Pierre Khoury of Montreal! He's only here this one weekend, so don't miss it.

The show is Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Rachel Browne theatre (211 Bannatyne, second floor) and doors open at 7pm sharp. Tickets are 25$ at the door.

Pierre Khoury
Pierre Khoury, a Syrian-Canadian male belly dancer from Montreal, is renowned for his expertise in Syrian/Lebanese Dabke, Raqs Sharqi, and Whirling. His talents have graced prestigious stages in several countries, and he's become an in-demand workshop instructor at international bellydance festivals.

Accalia & Kayla
This fusion duo emerged when they were hired for an event at the Fort Garry Hotel this past fall. They have shared many years as part of the Deep Roots Strong Dance company's performance ensemble.

Kayla
Kayla comes to us from the fusion side of the bellydance world, and has been inspiring others for years with her slinky dance technique and fantastic prop work.

Kalila
Kalila is a pillar of the Winnipeg bellydance scene, and for good reason! She teaches classes through the Winnipeg Leisure guide, and enjoys sharing her love of bellydance through every performance.

Ve Takim
Ve Takim is a semi-professional collaborative bellydance performance group interested in both classical and theatrical bellydance. They've been dancing together as a group for two years now.

Mazara
The first time Mazara saw a bellydance performance, she knew what she had to do. She immediately began searching for classes around her, and she's never looked back! Most recently, she was seen at the Egyptian pavilion at Folklorama.

The Shimmy Sisters
An energetic trio of dancers from Winnipeg, The Shimmy Sisters is making its stage debut at this year's Shivers & Shimmies!

Renee
New to the Winnipeg scene but not new to dance, Renee makes her prairie debut this February.
